Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Able App ("Able," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Able application, website, and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms you represent that you meet that requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure.
- All activity that happens under your account.
- Notifying us promptly at hello@becomeable.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not share your account with other people, create multiple accounts to abuse trial credits, or use the Service on behalf of anyone else without their permission.
3. Subscription, trial, and billing
3.1 Free trial
Able offers a 30-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged for the plan you selected (monthly or annual). You may cancel at any time during the trial by opening Settings inside the app and clicking "Manage or cancel subscription".
3.2 Subscription plans and pricing
Current plans and prices are shown on https://becomeable.app/#pricing. We may change prices in the future; if we do, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email, and the new price will apply to your next renewal.
3.3 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
3.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from inside the app or by emailing hello@becomeable.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period; you keep access until then.
3.5 Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may issue refunds at our discretion if, for example, the Service was unavailable for an extended period or a billing error occurred.
3.6 Failed payments
If a payment fails we will retry. If retries continue to fail, your subscription may be downgraded or canceled.

4. What Able is and is not
Able is a budgeting and planning tool. It helps you organize income, bills, debts, and savings goals that you enter yourself.
Able is not financial advice. We are not a registered investment adviser, accountant, tax advisor, or fiduciary. Coach replies, allocation suggestions, and any other output inside the Service are informational and based on the numbers you provide. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. Consult a qualified professional for personalized advice.
Able does not move money. We do not initiate payments, transfers, or transactions on your behalf. You pay bills, transfer savings, and make payments through your own bank or institution.
Able is not a bank. We do not hold funds.
5. AI Coach
The AI Coach feature generates replies using large language models. Its output may be wrong, incomplete, or inappropriate. Do not rely on Coach replies as professional advice. Do not share information through Coach that you would not want sent to our AI provider (see our Privacy Policy for details).
We may limit Coach usage (for example, a daily message cap) to keep the Service sustainable.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as allowed by law.
- Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of another person.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
- Interfere with the Service's operation, circumvent rate limits, or probe for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or malware.
- Use the Service to train a competing AI model on our output.
- Scrape, copy, or republish our content in bulk.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these rules.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the data you enter into the Service (bills, debts, notes, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host, store, transmit, and display that data solely to operate and improve the Service for you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.
8. Our content
The Service itself, including its design, code, logos, and text we write (such as Learn lesson content), is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. You may use it only as permitted by these Terms.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal use while your subscription is active.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from inside the app or by emailing hello@becomeable.app.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms.
- Your payment fails and is not resolved.
- We reasonably believe continuing to provide the Service to you creates legal or security risk for us or other users.
- We discontinue the Service (we will give reasonable notice).
On termination, your access ends and your data may be deleted per our Privacy Policy's retention section.
10. Warranties and disclaimers
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Able App from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Canyon County, Idaho, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our product, pricing, or practices change or when required by law. If we make material changes we will notify you by email and by a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
