Your 90-day action plan

You have the theory. Time to build the plan. A 90-day starter schedule from drowning to moving.

Don't skip steps. Don't change the order. Each step makes the next one easier.

Work this for three months and you'll be in a fundamentally different place.

Steps

1. Week 1: List everything. List every debt. Creditor, balance, minimum, rate, due date. You can't solve what you can't see.

2. Week 2: Calculate your DTI. Use the formula from Lesson 3. Write it at the top of the list. That's your starting score.

3. Week 3: Pick your target. Using snowball or avalanche, circle the one debt you'll attack first.

4. Week 4: Build your buffer. Open a separate savings account. Route 5 to 10% of every income into it. Goal: one month of bills.

5. Month 2: Call for rate cuts. Call every credit card and ask for a rate reduction. 30 minutes. Can save you thousands.

6. Month 2: Start surge payments. Let Able route surplus income to your target debt on good months.

7. Month 3: Review progress. Recalculate your DTI. Check how much principal you knocked off. Adjust if needed.

8. Month 3: Lock it in. The system should feel like routine by now. That's the win. Consistency beats intensity.
