Billing and subscription
Cancel the trial or subscription. Open Able → More → Settings → Subscription → Manage or cancel subscription. The Stripe billing portal handles it. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Switch from monthly to annual. Same path: Settings → Subscription → Switch to annual. The prorated difference charges to your saved card, and you save $50 over the year.
Update card or download invoices. Manage or cancel subscription → opens Stripe's portal where every saved card and past invoice lives.
Refunds. Email hello@becomeable.app within 14 days of a charge and describe what went wrong. Refunds are issued at Able's discretion and processed within 5-7 business days.
Bank connection (Plaid)
Connecting your first bank. Onboarding asks you to connect during setup. If you skipped it, open More → Settings → Connected accounts → Connect another bank.
Reconnect a bank. Plaid sometimes requires re-authentication after 90 days or a bank password change. When that happens you'll see a "Reconnect needed" badge — tap it to re-link.
Disconnect a bank. Settings → Connected accounts → tap the bank → Disconnect. Able stops syncing transactions and removes that bank's data from your account.
Bank not supported. Plaid covers 12,000+ US banks. If yours isn't listed, you can still use Able by entering bills and income manually.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Set up 2FA. Settings → Security → Turn on. Scan the QR code with 1Password, Google Authenticator, Authy, or any TOTP authenticator app.
Lost access to your authenticator. Email hello@becomeable.app from the address on your account. Identity gets verified manually and two-factor reset within the hour.
Tax export
For US-based users: Able tracks transactions marked tax-deductible across the year. Open the Plan tab → Activity → Tax Export. The export is a CSV grouped by Plaid personal-finance category, ready for an accountant or Schedule C.
Privacy and data
Export your data. Email hello@becomeable.app with subject "Data export." A copy of your account data is delivered within 30 days.
Delete your account. Settings → Account → Clear all data. This wipes the account and cannot be undone. Bank connections are removed from Plaid at the same time.
